Summer Service Industry Skills

This group focuses on developing skills for potential food or service industry work positions. Group members will help run the In the Loop Cafe, work on food production and sales, and other skills associated with this industry.

Skills Include:

Food handling and food safety
Food production and preparation for sale
Cafe management skills
Money management skills
Basic barista training
Business planning and advertising
Customer interaction
Working in a team environment toward a common goal

Registration on weekly basis from June 21-August 31st

9:00am to 3:00pm Monday through Thursday excluding Holidays, $500 per week

Longer days available 3:00pm-6:00pm, $250 per week

DDA Respite hours and Specialized Habilitation hours available
